My role
I was a member of the Telegraph Travel agile team, responsible for the Travel section of the Telegraph portal. Our duties included maintaining and implementing new features for the Travel section's products. We collaborated closely with Adobe Inc., leveraging Adobe Experience Manager CMS and deploying on Adobe servers.
Tech stack
Travel 2.0
In today's rapidly evolving digital landscape, TMG
recognized the need to enhance its operations
through a comprehensive
digital
transformation
initiative for Telegraph
Travel.
Our team spearheaded the project, aimed at
modernizing the Travel section of Telegraph portal,
optimizing operational efficiency, and improving
customer engagement.
Travel Portal
Our team also managed Travel's internal CMS, which was crucial for handling travel products and services. This Travel Portal app integrated data from multiple third-party APIs, consolidating information about various travel products. It empowered editors to add or modify content, tailoring it specifically to meet the needs of Telegraph's customer base.
I took ownership of the Travel Portal upgrade project, overseeing all aspects from planning to implementation. This comprehensive upgrade significantly enhanced the functionality and user experience of the portal. As a result of these improvements, the editorial team's efficiency increased by 40%, allowing them to manage content more effectively and streamline their workflow.
What are they saying about me?
I worked with Bartosz for a year and a half, and during that time I was able to see his attention to detail and effectiveness both amongst a team, as well as on his own, when it came to delivering his sprint tasks. He's a team player and will always look to assist where he can if a teammate requires assistance.
Bartosz is also an engineer who will give honest and constructive criticism if he believes the desired approach/UI/UX is not the best fit for the end user and/or goal. Any team would be lucky to have him.
